Some of us would like to fast for David, and I wanted to let you know when this would be happening in case any one else would like to join us. Please know that we are just letting you know, we aren't asking you to join us or trying to push onto you a belief that you may not feel comfortable with. Fasting is an incredibly private matter between you and the Lord, if you choose to do this please do so as you feel comfortable with in your walk with the Lord.
We have chosen tomorrow, Thursday March 5th from 6am to 6pm. If you want to fast for a shorter or longer amount of time that is totally up to you.
Joel 1:14 "Declare a holy fast, call a sacred assembly. Summon the elders and all who live in the land to the house of the Lord your God, and cry out to the Lord."

ReplyDeleteMy name is John Barile and I am a friend of Brandon and Jessica Southward's. I don't know Dave well, but I had the pleasure of meeting him a month or two ago. I just want you all to know that my prayers and thoughts are with you. I thank God Dave is blessed with such a beautiful and loving family. This kind of dedication is not commonplace. May the Lord get the heart Dave needs for him, and may He continue to comfort and strengthen all of you.-John
To the Kennedy Family know that me and my family will joining you today in fasting and I am here if you ever feel like talking or venting (626) 391-1004. You don't have to go into the bathroom to get away. I'm just a phone call away. We continue our prayers to give all of you the strength you need. Lord hear our prayers for this young man and his family that they so desperately need. Comfort them how you only know how. Amen
